You know that feeling when “Customer Success” really means renewals admin or running a glorified sales team?

This isn’t that.

This is a chance to lead a team that operates more like strategic consultants than traditional CSMs – guiding some of the world’s most sophisticated in-house legal teams to real, measurable outcomes.

You’ll be joining a market-leading, AI-powered legal tech company. Think: #1 in its category, top-rated by customers, growing fast, and still evolving its Customer Success function as the company scales.

And you? You’ll manage a pod of seasoned, enterprise CSMs – typically 4-6 direct reports – each with a focused book of 20–25 high-value customers and ARR in the $1.5-2m range.

Your job is to help them do the best work of their careers, and in doing so, drive net revenue retention across your portfolio.

What you’ll do

Lead and coach a team of experienced, MM & enterprise CSMs.
Drive net revenue retention through value, outcomes, and strong account health.
Run a consistent management rhythm: goals, coaching, performance reviews, and call feedback.
Step in on escalations and support CSMs through complex or at risk situations.
Ensure high quality Executive Business Reviews tied to customer strategy.
Partner with Implementation for smooth go-lives and long-term success.
Collaborate cross-functionally to unblock customers and improve the journey.
Identify risks and opportunities across accounts and turn them into scalable improvements.
Support the growth of the CS organisation as headcount and structure expand.

Who you are

8+ years in CS/Account Management, including 3+ years managing CSMs.
Background in enterprise CS with low-volume, high-value portfolios.
Value-led, not sales-first - comfortable owning net retention.
Experienced with complex, multi-stakeholder customers (legal/fintech/insurtech a plus).
Data-driven coach who enjoys 1:1s and developing strong CSM capability.
Thrives in a fast-scaling environment with evolving structure and processes.
Based in or open to relocating to - NYC, and available in-office three days per week.
