Job Title: Android Developer - AI Trainer

Location: Remote (United States)

Job Type: Contract

We’re seeking an experienced Android Developer to collaborate with AI research teams in testing, training, and improving AI-powered coding models. In this role, you’ll use your Android development expertise to evaluate AI-generated code, provide detailed feedback, and help shape the next generation of AI-driven development tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and optimize Android applications using Kotlin or Java.
Evaluate and validate AI-generated code for quality, performance, and functionality.
Collaborate with AI engineers and researchers to refine coding workflows and model accuracy.
Provide structured feedback through bug reports, error logs, and improvement suggestions.
Participate in testing cycles to assess AI models’ real-world coding performance.
Work closely with product and research teams to enhance AI-assisted Android development tools.
Maintain clean, scalable, and maintainable codebases following best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

4+ years of professional experience in Android app development.
Strong command of Kotlin and Java for Android.
Solid understanding of Android SDK, UI frameworks, and design patterns (MVVM/MVP).
Experience debugging, optimizing, and testing Android apps.
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.).
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on AI, automation, or research-focused projects.
Knowledge of machine learning concepts or AI model evaluation.
Contributions to open-source Android projects or a strong GitHub portfolio.
Passion for exploring how AI can improve developer workflows.
