Job Title: Senior DevOps Platform Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes)

Employment Type: Full-time Contract

Hybrid in London

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Platform Engineer with extensive experience in designing and building secure, scalable platforms on AWS and RHEL. The ideal candidate is an expert in automation and infrastructure-as-code, with a proven ability to reduce operational toil, improve reliability, and mentor engineering teams. This role will leverage cloud-native and DevSecOps practices to deliver resilient, high-performing platforms for enterprise-scale workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Architect, build, and maintain secure, scalable platforms on AWS and RHEL.
Design and implement automation using Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and Git.
Manage container orchestration with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, and related tooling.
Implement observability solutions using Grafana, CloudWatch, and Splunk.
Drive platform reliability improvements and reduce operational overhead through automation and best practices.
Mentor and guide engineering teams on DevOps, cloud-native, and security-first principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, security hardening, and performance optimization.
