Dynatrace Consultant (SC Cleared), £500 per day outside IR35

Bench IT require an experienced Dynatrace Consultant to join a large organisation starting ASAP working remotely with occasional site visits. The Consultant will be responsible to define and own the observability strategy for enterprise systems, leveraging Dynatrace as the core platform. This role ensures end-to-end monitoring architecture across applications, infrastructure, and cloud workloads, driving proactive incident management and performance optimization.
The successful candidate should have the skills and experience included below:
Define observability architecture and roadmap using Dynatrace as the primary tooling.
Design and implement monitoring frameworks for microservices, APIs, databases, and hybrid cloud environments.
Architect service flow mapping, distributed tracing, real-user monitoring (RUM), and synthetic monitoring.
Act as Dynatrace Subject Matter Expert (SME), guiding teams on best practices.
Lead integration of observability into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
Enable AI-driven root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and self-healing automation.
Partner with enterprise architects, SREs, and application teams to embed observability standards.
Ensure compliance with security and operational policies.
Communicate architectural decisions, risks, and roadmaps to stakeholders.
Stay current with Dynatrace releases, OpenTelemetry, and industry trends.
Mentor teams and influence observability maturity across the organization.
Strong understanding of microservices, containers (Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Familiarity with ITIL, SRE, and AIOps practices.
Desirable - Certifications: Dynatrace Certified Professional; Cloud certifications preferred.
