Analyst3 is building a vertical AI platform for the Mergers and Acquisitions space that compresses deal timelines from months to days. Today, our platform helps M&A advisors - business consultants that specialize in buying and selling businesses - automate lead sourcing and run buy-side mandates using AI agents.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a VC-backed early-stage AI startup working at the leading edge of technology and deal-making. You’ll learn directly from a leadership team with deep experience in investment banking, AI, and scaling SaaS companies, and gain exposure to how a fast-growing startup operates from the inside.
We’re tackling one of the most urgent problems in the global economy: private company M&A is broken. It takes armies of analysts and months to close deals. Transactions require 2 to 4 months to prepare a company for sale and another 3 to 6 months to sell it - creating distractions that hurt valuations, high uncertainty throughout the process, and significant waste when deals fall through. Yet over one-third of small businesses must be sold in the next 20 years, creating a 20x surge in deal volume that today's manual advisory model can't handle.
The Role
We're looking for a founding AI engineer with strong AI and software experience. You will own key technical decisions as well as product implementation from day one. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who loves to build, experiment, problem solve, and create value at lightning speed - relentlessly.
What We Are Looking For
Agentic systems: multi-step planning, routing, memory, and retrieval; agent orchestration, evaluation, and optimization
Full stack engineering: building scalable data pipelines, API development, and seamless third-party integrations
Product mindset: deep care for user experience with focus on measuring and improving customer outcomes
Technical leadership: document architectural decisions, establish best practices, and mentor junior engineers as we scale
Startup intensity: thrive in zero-to-one environments and understand that building something meaningful requires obsessive focus, ownership mentality, and a lot of work
