POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Sales Analyst role will primarily support our customer strategy team in the areas of sales reporting & analysis, tracking key initiatives and performing detailed analysis around pricing, product, placement and promotion. This role will be expected to work collaboratively with various teams on detailed sales analysis and present results to stakeholders. In addition, they will be responsible for working with our BI team to help maintain and enhancing our suite of daily/weekly/monthly reporting. This role will support Holistic Health brands with a focus on Gut Health & Osteo.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Customer Strategy Team with ad-hoc shipment analysis.
Support Customer Strategy Team with high-level IRI analysis, deeper analysis must go through insights and analytics team.
Provide monthly IRI data to BI team to update shipment/consumption model reporting and dashboards.
Work with BI team to create and enhance Power BI dashboards to support the business.
Monthly data pulls from multiple trade systems for consolidated forecast reporting and analysis.
Update innovation info on internal Sales & Marketing site.
Build, maintain and distribute innovation tracker for each launch period, including projections and actuals shipments.
Utilize 3rd party tools and resources to compile info on competitive new items coming to the market.
Track both Nestle and competitive innovation through IRI and report out findings on monthly basis.
Combine insights from 3rd party tools to build out monthly analysis of pricing and price change data in the market.
Maintain master price list and send updates to master customer pricing team.
Develop price bracket recommendations.
Add items/update price point system.
Work with Numerator to build or enhance competitive promotion reporting to support Customer Strategy Team (CST).
Build and maintain consolidated customer calendars (presentation dates, reset dates, etc.).
Extract promotional data from trade systems to develop a consolidated promotional calendar for all customers, to be distributed monthly.
Support CST with any data or insights related to product or packaging changes.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

2 year’s experience in consumer packaged goods or vitamins and supplements is strongly preferred. Sales experience or syndicated data supplier experience is a positive.
High School Diploma is required. Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
Prior experience using syndicated data to determine customer needs and establish the most effective pricing and promotional activities that will increase sales and market share for the company and its customers.
Knowledge regarding Project Management, and experience with setting up and managing projects in a complex, fast-moving environment.
Experience with Power BI or other BI reporting tool is strongly preferred.

Analytics: Ability to leverage data and processes to identify areas to maximize profit and improve process.
Communication skills: Able to easily communicate plan, reports, ideas and concepts to cross functional teams and management.
Presentation: Prepare and successfully present detailed analysis to cross functional teams.
Planning: Interpret data trends and forecast trade promotion budget to prepare and support a detailed annual business plans.
Problem solving: Solves problems by gathering the appropriate facts and applying analytical tools. Uses teamwork to maximize the results.
Systems Proficiency: Advanced MS Office
