Our healthcare client is seeking a UX Researcher to join their team on a 6-month contract. This role is primarily remote, but candidates must be based in the Philadelphia area. The ideal candidate will bring proven experience in mixed-methods research, including both qualitative and quantitative approaches, and must be able to showcase a case study demonstrating their research process and impact.

UX Researcher

Location: Primarily Remote (onsite 1-2x a month in Philadelphia, PA)

Duration: 6-Month W2 Contract (open to conversion/extension)

Responsibilities:

Plan, design, and execute user research studies, using both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Translate complex research findings into clear, actionable insights for design and product teams.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners including designers, product managers, and engineers to align research outcomes with business goals.
Conduct usability testing, interviews, surveys, and other research activities to validate design decisions.
Synthesize findings into presentations, reports, and recommendations tailored for stakeholders.
Ensure research incorporates accessibility, inclusivity, and compliance considerations relevant to healthcare.

Qualifications:

3+ years of UX research experience, preferably within healthcare or other regulated industries.
Strong portfolio including at least one case study demonstrating mixed-methods research.
Proven ability to design, execute, and analyze both generative and evaluative research.
Experience with tools such as UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Qualtrics, or similar.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills to present insights to diverse audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Psychology, Anthropology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
