Job Role: Sr. ETL Developer with Matillion

Location: Canada (Remote)

Job Description:

Required Skills

Overall 8-10 years of experience as a data engineer.
8-10 years in creating data integration pipelines using DBT/ELT and Matillion using Snowflake.
Ability to work with data architects and leads to support the design and implementation of data processes.
Deep expertise in SQL/data analysis and ensuring data integrity, data security, and data quality.
Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance requirements for healthcare data security, privacy, and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

As a data engineer, you will load and validate historical/incremental files and apply daily deltas to Snowflake.
Follow the framework, maintain metadata, and keep assets in sync.
All engineering tasks must be performed as per standard guidelines within the healthcare payer domain.
Implement and validate mapping sheets to align with project requirements and specifications.
Ensure all data processes comply with HIPAA and healthcare data privacy regulations.
Collaborate with Data Architect/Data Lead and Analyst to support the design and implementation of data integration pipelines.
Assist in troubleshooting data related issues and ensuring data quality."
