I am hiring for Senior ETL Lead

Location: Northampton (2–3 days on-site weekly)

Job Description

We are hiring a Senior ETL Lead to oversee the design, development, and optimisation of enterprise data pipelines for analytics, MI, and reporting. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in ETL development, data integration, cloud platforms, and messaging systems, with the ability to lead technical delivery and guide junior engineers.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design and implementation of scalable ETL pipelines across diverse data platforms.
Gather and analyse business data requirements to support analytics, MI, and reporting initiatives.
Build and maintain batch and real-time data pipelines with high reliability and performance.
Ensure data quality, consistency, and governance across systems.
Implement messaging and streaming solutions such as Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
Optimise ETL workflows and resolve data-related issues.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to best practices in data engineering.
