Hays Specialist Recruitment is partnering with a global leader in trade and investment, operating across diverse industries including chemicals, energy, and industrial solutions. This role offers a unique opportunity to start with core administrative responsibilities and transition into business development, contributing to impactful projects in a dynamic sector.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage documents for trade contracts, purchases, returns, and damaged materials.
Generate invoices and debit/credit notes; ensure accurate posting in SAP.
Monitor accounts receivable, follow up on payments, and track contract signing/countersigning.
Reconcile inventory monthly, prepare reports, and maintain accurate data using Excel and Access.
Coordinate with multiple warehouses and stakeholders to track material movements and resolve discrepancies.
Handle insurance claims for damaged materials in collaboration with corporate teams.
Communicate with clients, vendors, and service providers to ensure compliance and resolve issues.
Provide general administrative support, including data entry, document management, and reporting.

What You Need to Succeed

University degree or college diploma in Business Administration or related field.
2–3 years of administrative experience, preferably in inventory control or supply chain.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and MS Office Suite; SAP experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic supply chain management and logistics; chemical industry experience is an asset.
