Job Specifications
You will join a large digital transformation program and take a senior role in designing, developing and improving modern business applications. The focus is on Java/Spring backend development combined with strong hands-on work in Angular for the frontend.
What you'll do
Develop, refactor and maintain full-stack applications built with Java, Spring, Angular and related frameworks.
Build backend components, APIs, integration layers and frontend features using modern development standards.
Contribute to component architecture, design decisions and solution patterns together with technical leads.
Coach and support other developers, review code and promote engineering best practices.
Participate in refinement, technical discussions, testing activities, documentation and deployment flows.
Apply test-driven development practices using tools such as JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, Selenium and CI pipelines.
Work within an Agile/Scrum setup and collaborate closely with analysts, testers and product teams.
What are we looking for?
You have at least 10 years of hands-on experience in Java software engineering, ideally in full-stack environments.
You apply deep experience with Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch and REST/SOAP services in business-critical systems.
You build modern frontends using Angular (incl. Angular 20), HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Bootstrap 5 and component-based architecture patterns.
You design and develop microservices using SOA, CQRS, integration patterns and secure communication mechanisms.
You work confidently with JPA/Hibernate, write performant SQL and work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server or Oracle.
You use CI/CD tooling such as Maven, Jenkins, Docker, OpenShift, Git/SVN, SonarQube and modern IDEs.
You apply test-driven development using JUnit, Mockito, Cypress, Selenium and related testing frameworks.
You understand UML/BPMN, collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to documentation and code reviews.
You are fluent in French OR Dutch, have at least passive knowledge of the other national language, and you have an active working level of English.
