One of our clients is urgently looking for a Sr. Datacenter Engineer.

Hourly: $35 - $40 per hour

Position Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Center Engineer with 7-10 years of experience, particularly in colocation and wholesale data center environments. The ideal candidate should have extensive hands-on experience and be actively engaged in managing data center operations.

Desired Qualifications/Experience

The candidate should possess expertise in the following areas:

Contribute to the design, buildout, and expansion of enterprise data center environments, including power, cooling, networking, storage, and compute infrastructure.
Understanding and hands-on experience with rack PDUs, new installations, upgrades, firmware updates, and IP configuration.
Proficiency in data center infrastructure management (DCIM) software, including asset and power management.
Deployment, installation, and configuration of servers, storage arrays, network hardware, and supporting infrastructure.
Knowledge of data center capacity planning (power, space, cooling) to ensure scalability and reliability.
Familiarity with hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, vendor coordination, and RMA processes.
