Job Purpose

As the Operations Manager at VFS Global, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all operational activities within the assigned region. You will provide strong leadership to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence across all processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the overall operations of the Visa Application Centre.

• Drive profitability and meet EBIT targets set by the Zone/Region.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with consular officials.

• Ensure full compliance with SOPs, ISO standards, and organizational processes.

• Lead and mentor teams to achieve performance goals outlined in the Team Objective Tracker.

• Implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.

• Facilitate knowledge-sharing through “SPARC Ideas” and best practices.

• Manage budgets, resources, and staff productivity.

• Conduct regular training and internal process certifications (OCLs).

• Ensure physical and data security in line with corporate policies.

• Monitor and enhance Value-Added Services (VAS) to meet monthly and annual targets..

• Act as a mentor and succession planner for team members.

• Liaise with HR, Finance, and Administration for operational support.

• Forecast manpower needs, especially during peak seasons.

• Promote employee well-being and manage seasonal workload pressures.

• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Key Requirements:

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in visa or customer service environments.

• Strong leadership and team development skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

• Proficiency in process optimization and compliance frameworks.

• Ability to manage budgets, performance metrics, and operational targets.

•Good level in French and English (both written and spoken) Italian is a plus.
