Position: Network Operations Analyst

Compensation: $ 55 - 75 /hour, depending on experience

Location: Mont Belvieu, Texas

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

Design and implement LAN/WAN infrastructure for operations
Maintain Cisco and Palo Alto hardware
Utilize OSPF, BGP, NAT/PAT, and VPN technologies
Ensure network security best practices are followed
Collaborate with telecom vendors to meet project goals
Provide real-time network system support
Develop cost-effective solutions for business requirements
Lead without direct supervision
Mentor junior network team members

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field
7 to 10 years of network infrastructure experience
Strong understanding of information security concepts
Experience with firewall operation and policy development
Ability to be on rotating 24x7 on-call rotation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

Current CCNP and/or PCNSE certifications
Experience with Aruba Wireless Infrastructure
Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama
Oil and Gas industry experience
Experience with Solarwinds
