Location: Newcastle upon Tyne (Hybrid)

Salary: Competitive

Contract: 9 month fixed-term contract

About the role:

Sitting in the UK marketing team, we’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media! You’ll have responsibility for both developing and executing the UK social media plan, creating conversations and nurturing Tommee Tippee’s online communities and ultimately helping making TT the first choice for parents.

You’ll make use of the global social strategy & content whilst also creating & executing relevant local content, working closely with the UK Brand and Shopper Marketing teams in doing so.

You’ll need to know the social channels and formats well and deeply understand what makes our parenting audience tick. You’ll also need to be a strong team player, have a keen creative eye, good attention to detail and be confident in challenging the status quo.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting into the Head of UK Brand Marketing, you’ll develop and execute our UK social media approach, driving engagement with the TT community across all key social media channels, working alongside Global Content, Consumer Experience and Regional Marketing teams to ensure an aligned approach to content and consumer responses
Deliver engaging and relevant social content that really delivers, driving our brand’s social media equity and positive share of voice, leveraging consumer engagement and advocacy opportunities online, all informed by regional and brand objectives and insights
Day-to-day management of responses to social media posts & DMs (organic and paid) across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & Reddit
Deliver regular reporting and analytics on channel performance, setting clear and ambitious KPI’s with both short-term and long-term actions to drive continuous growth in reach and engagement
Partner with the media team to align on content boosting plans ensuring teams are focused on strategic objectives across commercial and brand awareness
Partner with media and content and campaigns manager to ensure our influencer approach delivers strong community-centric plans both through commissioned content and community engagement
Share insights and best practice with your social media counterparts in other key territories to support in building channel plans and driving growth in our key international markets, ensuring our high standards of brand values are represented
Liaising with the campaign and creative services team to feed in creative compliance and best practices to reflect in the media strategies
Understand the changing consumer landscape and serve as the social voice for our brand, providing recommendations and thought leadership
Be the person who identifies trending content to understand how our brand can be involved whilst maintaining relevance to our audience
Contribute to wider business initiatives and objectives as and when presented
Undertake administration relevant to the department/ role responsibilities
Support in the delivery of process improvements, the tracking of progress and outcomes

What skills and experiences you’ll need to ace this job:

Demonstrable experience and knowledge of managing social media channels, including but not limited to TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube & Reddit
An entrepreneurial mindset who is curious about developing bigger and better social plans
Strong communicator at all levels with strong interpersonal skills to build effective internal and external relationships
Ability to prioritise and to adapt quickly to changing circumstances
A self-starter by nature with a ‘can do’ attitude
Good project management skills
A degree in a Marketing, Digital or Business discipline would be an advantage
