Job Title: Data Scientist

Location: London, UK - hybrid 2/3 times per week in Euston

Remuneration: £45.00 per hour

Contract Details: Temporary (12 months)

Responsibilities:

Analyse large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for our client's products and business operations.
Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to solve business problems.
Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to design and execute data-driven strategies.
Ensure data integrity, privacy, and compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations.

Minimum Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Scientist or in a similar analytical role.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
Strong understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning, and data visualisation techniques.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Good to Have Skills:

Collaboration and influencing with stakeholders.
Strong communication skills and ability to translate data insights into product insights.
Data engineering skills.
Experience in support organisations or integrity.

Typical Day in the Role:

Partnering with quality and evaluation teams in high-touch support.
Collaborating with product managers to set up success metrics for the team.
Working with engineering teams to understand the impact of product feature launches.
