Job Specifications

We’re partnering with a leading technology organization seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their growing Software Engineering team. This full-time position is based in Bolingbrook, IL (hybrid) and focuses on designing and maintaining secure Azure DevOps pipelines, supporting cloud containerization initiatives, and optimizing infrastructure for scalability and reliability across multiple environments.

This is an opportunity to shape the company’s DevOps foundation and drive automation across both Windows and Linux environments. You’ll collaborate closely with IT and Software Engineering leadership to modernize workflows, enhance deployment strategies, and strengthen the CI/CD ecosystem. This team values innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning—offering strong career growth and hands-on exposure to cloud-native development.

Required Skills & Experience

3+ years of hands-on DevOps experience with Azure DevOps
Proficiency in version control and Git workflows
Experience with C# (.NET Core and VB.NET) build and deployment
Scripting with YAML, PowerShell, Bash/Shell, or Python
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments
Understanding of IaC using Terraform or Ansible
Knowledge of pipeline security (RBAC, PAT, MFA, scanning tools, etc.)
Strong collaboration and communication skills

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience with AWS or Azure cloud platforms
Understanding of networking fundamentals (HTTP/S, DNS)
Familiarity with Azure DevOps Artifacts
Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification
