2026 Investment Banking Summer Analyst Program - London

Leerink Partners offers a ten-week Summer Analyst Program to students in their penultimate year of undergraduate studies. This is an opportunity to become acquainted with an experienced full-service investment bank focused on growth and innovative companies in the healthcare and life science industries. The program provides a unique opportunity to work alongside our investment banking professionals, gaining hands-on experience across a range of M&A transactions, while developing the skills required for a successful career in financial services and contributing to the firm’s continued expansion and growing presence in Europe.

As a Summer Analyst you will:

Learn about the firm, our culture, and the healthcare investment banking landscape
Develop the technical, analytical and professional skills necessary to support our business
Receive hands-on training and mentorship to help you grow and succeed in the role

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation of client presentations and marketing materials
Build and maintain financial models and perform valuation analyses
Conduct company and industry research, review business plans, and analyze financial statements
Support due diligence and execution processes
Work closely with senior team members across the firm and gain exposure to live mandates

Experience and Qualifications Required:

Exemplary academic record, on track to complete an undergraduate degree in 2027
Degree discipline or coursework in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Life Sciences preferred
Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills, with strong attention to detail
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Intellectually curious, motivated, collaborative individual who thrives working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Additional Information:

Location: London, United Kingdom
Program duration: 10 weeks, beginning Summer 2026
Applicants must have the legal right to work in the United Kingdom for the duration of the internship and not require visa sponsorship in the future
