We are now opening applications for off-cycle (2025 / 2026) and summer 2026 internship positions within our London office. The selected candidate(s) will have the opportunity to work with blue-chip, global clients on a wide range of complex transactions, including sell-side M&A, buy-side M&A, public and private capital markets transactions, fairness opinions and other strategic advisory mandates. The selected candidate(s) will work closely with IAP’s professionals, from analysts to managing partners, to deliver high quality advice to our clients and will have the opportunity to develop their skills as a result of broad and frequent exposure to all facets of our business.

Responsibilities

Support the team from analysts and associates to our most senior bankers
Assist in the preparation of client presentations and other materials
Prepare company marketing documents (e.g., Investor Presentations, Confidential Information Memorandums, Private Placement Memorandums, etc.)
Develop valuations and creating / analysing financial models
Perform research and analysis to support the creation of client materials
Participate in all stages of transaction executions, from the pitch phase through closing
Become an industry expert by keeping up to date with the markets and the sector developments, understanding regulatory frameworks in relevant jurisdictions to support developing advice, valuation and financing structures

 

Requirements (Education, Qualifications & Skills)

Either a final-year Bachelor's student, currently pursuing a Master's degree, in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field, or currently interning in banking, finance or consultancy
Prior experience in banking, finance, or consulting is preferred but not required
Outstanding academic track record
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills combined with relentless attention to detail
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written / verbal communication skills
Extraordinarily high level of motivation, work ethic and willingness to go above and beyond
Shows problem solving and organisational skills
Can perform under high pressure and tight deadlines
Ability to develop financial modelling and valuation skills
Excellent Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint skills
Right to work in the U.K. without sponsorship required
