Executive Assistant to the Founder & Head of Family Office
Alternative Investments, Property & Leisure
Hybrid Role (London/Surrey – 50% Office Based)
Overview
An exceptional opportunity for a senior-level value add Executive Assistant to support the Founder and Head of Family Office of a dynamic, internationally active investment group engaged in alternative investments, property, and leisure. This is a hybrid position requiring approximately 50% of time in the office (London or Surrey) and flexibility for travel when required.
The successful candidate will be a highly organised, discreet, and commercially aware professional with excellent communication, financial literacy, and relationship management skills. This is a trusted support role, working closely with the Founder on both business and family office matters.
Key Responsibilities1. Executive Support
• Provide comprehensive support to the Founder across business activities.
• Serve as the first point of contact for senior stakeholders, advisors, and partners.
• Manage emails, correspondence, presentations, briefing materials, reports, and day-to-day management duties.
• Anticipate needs and ensure the Founder is fully briefed and prepared at all times.
2. Business and Investment Coordination
• Support the administration of the family office’s alternative investment fund manager, property, and leisure businesses.
• Liaise with managers, accountants, and advisors to collect, summarise, and instruct.
• Prepare investment summaries, financial briefings, and implement cost control protocols and systems.
• Track project timelines, essential reporting deadlines, cash flows, and investment documentation.
• Maintain awareness of business priorities and ensure key milestones are met.
3. Legal, Governance & Counterparty Liaison
• Coordinate with legal counsel and senior counterparties on contracts, agreements, and compliance matters.
• Track and manage document execution, filings, and corporate governance records.
• Maintain confidential records and version control for legal and commercial documents.
• Support the Founder in liaising with external advisors and ensuring governance standards are met.
4. Technology & Information Management
• Confidently manage digital systems, cloud platforms, and secure data sharing across entities.
• Ensure key information and documentation are up to date and accessible.
• Support the introduction and use of new software or workflow tools to enhance efficiency.
• Liaise with IT support to maintain secure, reliable systems and data integrity.
5. Communication & Relationship Management
• Liaise professionally with family members, investors, partners, and advisors.
• Draft and manage correspondence with clarity, diplomacy, and professionalism.
• Handle confidential matters with sensitivity and discretion.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and with external stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience
• Minimum 7–10 years’ experience supporting a CEO, Founder, or Principal within a family office, investment, or professional services environment.
• Solid understanding of business, financial, and property terminology.
• Experience liaising with law firms, accountants, and financial advisors at senior level.
• High proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, SharePoint).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven track record of confidentiality, integrity, and discretion.

Compensation & Benefits
• Competitive salary depending on experience: typically in the range of £85,000 – £100,000 per annum.
