Job Type: Contract (C2C / W2) – Open to negotiation for the right candidate

About the Role:

We are looking for a Workday AI Architect to join a client-facing team and lead the design and implementation of AI-driven solutions within the Workday ecosystem. This is an onsite role in Connecticut and requires someone with strong consulting experience and hands-on Workday AI/Illuminate expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the strategic design and implementation of AI solutions in Workday HCM, Finance, and Talent Management.

Collaborate with Workday product teams and client stakeholders across HR, Finance, and IT.

Identify AI integration opportunities to enhance business processes.

Develop and maintain AI adoption and implementation roadmaps for global customers.

Work with client IT and business directors to define AI use cases.

Lead technical discussions, presentations, and project reporting.

Mentor and guide team members on AI-related Workday solutions.

Requirements

Must-Have Skills / Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

4–6 years of consulting experience, preferably with a large consulting firm.

Hands-on experience with Workday Illuminate.

Led at least two full life cycle Workday implementations.

Experience in creating AI implementation and adoption roadmaps for global customers.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Team leadership experience.

Fluent English, both verbal and written.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Workday HCM, Finance, and Talent Management modules.

Familiarity with Workday APIs, Integrations, and Studio.

Exposure to third-party benefits/payroll vendors is a plus.
