Here at Ellis Digital we are excited to announce that we are recruiting for another Website Developer to join our ever expanding team at our Guildford office.

Join a fun, small but expanding agency working in all sectors within the United Kingdom

Requirements:

Deep understanding of Wordpress and associated systems
Ability to troubleshoot and create solutions for website related problems
Work with the design team to follow creative designs and plans from Figma
Experience and ability to work with Advanced Custom Fields
In depth knowledge of WooCommerce and product management
Excellent HTML, CSS and Javascript knowledge
Plenty of previous experience of building Wordpress websites
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Understanding of PHP
Keen attention to detail

Experience:

Minimum:

Experience with HTML and CSS.
Experience with PHP and WordPress.
Experience with JavaScript.
Understanding of WooCommerce and Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
Understanding of API's.

Ideal:

Familiarity with custom themes and plugins.
Experience with Alpine JS or/and Vue JS.
Experience with jQuery.
Experience with REST API (GraphQL can work).
Experience with Tailwind CSS.
Understanding of JSON.

What you will be doing:

Building websites on Wordpress and other platforms
Optimising websites across our portfolio
Working off the designs created by the in house graphic designers
Regular monthly website maintenance for clients on retainers
Looking after the company server
R&D days to look at new emerging software and practices
Fixing bugs on websites and working with account managers with client issues
