PRODUCT MANAGER - Interim

4 Month Contract (potential for extension or permanent)

Hybrid work in Bristol / South West

£300 - £400 a day + VAT

We’re looking for a commercially-minded Product Manager who can take ownership of a high-profile R&D project and turn cutting-edge hardware + cloud technology into a compelling market and product story.

Our client is on a mission to help protect the planet by transforming how industries operate more responsibly, and accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more sustainable future.

You’ll gather customer insight across industrial sectors, validate market demand, shape the product roadmap with engineering, and produce clear documentation that demonstrates technical readiness, commercial potential, and a credible path to scale.

This role suits someone experienced in managing physical or engineering-led products (think sensors, robotics, industrial IoT, medtech, energy, automation, EV, etc.), who is structured, analytical, confident dealing with customers, and capable of influencing engineers, commercial teams and leadership.

What you’ll deliver in 4 months:

Direct customer insight and evidence across multiple industrial markets
Strong value propositions and market segmentation
A maturing product roadmap linked to real-world demand
Clear documentation and business justification for future investment
Improved cross-functional alignment and basic product processes

What we’re looking for:

Proven product management experience in hardware + software integrated systems
Ability to turn customer insight into strategy and structured documentation
Able to operate confidently in a fast-moving engineering environment
Available to start within 1–2 weeks
Hybrid working with 1–3 days on-site weekly
