Job Specifications
We are seeking a highly skilled Proofpoint DLP & SOAR Engineer to design, implement, optimize, and automate our enterprise data-loss prevention and security orchestration workflows. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Proofpoint Enterprise DLP, Email Protection, TAP, CASB, and Endpoint DLP, combined with strong expertise in SOAR platforms (Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Microsoft Sentinel, Swimlane, or similar).
Proofpoint Expertise
3–5+ years with Proofpoint Enterprise DLP (email, endpoint, cloud).
Experience with Proofpoint Email Protection, TAP, PPS, and CASB.
Understanding of dictionaries, classifiers, templates, encryption policies, quarantine flow.
Strong knowledge of data categories: PII, PCI, HIPAA/PHI, confidential & proprietary data.
SOAR Expertise
Experience developing playbooks in Cortex XSOAR, Splunk SOAR, Sentinel, or Swimlane.
Ability to build complex, automated workflows with approvals and conditional logic.
API integration experience with REST/JSON.
Security & Engineering
Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK exfiltration techniques.
Understanding of email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC).
Experience in SIEM (Splunk, Elastic, Sentinel), EDR, cloud security, and identity systems.
Strong scripting skills: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
Experience with incident response and investigations.
Preferred Qualifications
Proofpoint certifications (PPS, TAP, Protection Server, DLP).
SOAR certifications (XSOAR, Sentinel IR, Splunk SOAR).
Knowledge of cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, Google Workspace security.
Experience with insider threat tools (Proofpoint ITM, ObserveIT, DTEX).
CISSP, CISM, GSEC, CEH, or equivalent certifications.
