Business Analyst – Business Transformation (Insurance)

Brentwood, Essex (Hybrid)

We’re looking for a Business Analyst to join our clients Portfolio and Programme Management team. In this role, you’ll support a range of transformation projects, working closely with colleagues across the business to help shape how we operate in the future.

What the role involves

Gathering and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements
Reviewing current processes and identifying gaps against our Target Operating Model (TOM)
Helping to design and roll out new processes and business capabilities
Preparing business cases and impact assessments to support decisions
Contributing to change management activities, such as training and communications
Tracking KPIs to measure how well the TOM is working
Ensuring our processes meet regulatory and industry standards
Keeping stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and issues

What we’re looking for

Experience as a Business Analyst within the insurance sector
Understanding of Target Operating Model design and delivery
Strong process mapping and optimisation skills
Good knowledge of insurance products and processes
Familiarity with tools and methods like BPMN, UML, Agile, and Waterfall
Strong communication skills, with confidence working across all levels
Relevant qualifications (IIBA, BCS, Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage
