We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Engineer, ServiceNow Mobile to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge mobile solutions on the ServiceNow platform. In this senior role, you will be the technical expert driving our mobile-first strategy, ensuring our mobile applications are scalable, secure, and deliver an exceptional user experience for a large enterprise user base.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Mobile Development: Drive the end-to-end development life cycle for ServiceNow Mobile Agent and responsive solutions, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical best practices.
Design & Architecture: Design and build complex ServiceNow workflows, modules, and UI policies, always maintaining a mobile-first approach.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders to analyze intricate requirements and effectively translate them into robust, scalable mobile solutions.
Mobile Configuration: Customize and configure the ServiceNow Mobile Agent, including advanced features such as mobile cards, layouts, actionable notifications, and robust offline support capabilities.
Integration: Integrate ServiceNow mobile features with other enterprise and third-party platforms utilizing REST/SOAP APIs.
Performance & Security: Actively troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to mobile application performance, user experience, and security across a large-scale deployment.
Mentorship & Quality Assurance: Mentor junior developers, conduct rigorous code reviews for both mobile and traditional ServiceNow projects, and enforce development standards.
Innovation: Stay current with new ServiceNow Mobile releases, features, and industry best practices to continuously enhance our mobile offerings.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
ServiceNow Development: Extensive hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
Mobile Expertise: Strong, demonstrable hands-on experience with ServiceNow Studio, Mobile App Builder, and mobile card configuration.
Large-Scale Support: Must have significant experience supporting the ServiceNow Mobile App for a large user base (40,000+ end users).
Technical Stack: Highly skilled in front-end and platform technologies, including JavaScript, Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and expert use of ServiceNow APIs (REST/SOAP).
Domain Knowledge: Proven experience designing and developing solutions in key ServiceNow domain areas such as ITSM, HRSD, Asset Management, Virtual Agent, and/or Mobile Workforce Management.
Quality Focus: Demonstrated experience with a focus on ServiceNow mobile app security, performance, and usability.
Methodology: Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
Integration: Experience integrating ServiceNow with various other enterprise platforms.
UI/UX: Solid knowledge of UI/UX best practices specifically tailored for ServiceNow mobile users.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or Mobile Implementation Specialist certification.
