AI ENGINEER - Insurance Software Provider

My client are on a mission to reshape the insurance landscape with next-generation technology – and we’re looking for a results-driven AI Engineer to lead and scale Generative AI initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and fine-tune Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI solutions using frameworks like OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or open-source models.
Build and optimise RAG pipelines, vector databases, and prompt engineering strategies for enhanced AI responses.
Develop AI-powered applications integrating LLMs with APIs, agents, and workflows to solve real business challenges.
Deploy and monitor AI models in production environments, ensuring scalability, performance, and responsible AI practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into innovative AI solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Experience with Python and REST APIs.
Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Haystack) and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI).
Expertise in prompt engineering, fine-tuning techniques, and vector databases (Pinecone, FAISS, ChromaDB).
Strong understanding of transformer architectures and attention mechanisms.
Experience deploying AI applications on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of MLOps, evaluation metrics for LLMs, and implementing responsible AI principles.
Experience in Insurtech or Fintech domains.
Desirable
Familiarity with insurance workflows or policy administration systems.
