Job Specifications

Are you energised by solving complex problems, shaping innovative solutions, and delivering automation that genuinely transforms how organisations operate?

Our client – a fast-growing business consultancy specialising in digital, operational, and organisational transformation – is looking for an AI & Automation Analyst to join their expanding team.

This is a pivotal cross-functional role: part Product Analyst, part Business Analyst, part AI/Automation SME. You’ll work across the full lifecycle – from idea inception through to discovery, design, build, test, deployment, and iteration – on a portfolio of both high-impact strategic initiatives and rapid-delivery enhancements.

What you’ll be doing

Partner with business leaders and clients to identify automation opportunities and AI use cases across workflows, processes, and data journeys.
Lead and run discovery activities, including requirements gathering, mapping of current/future states, and value/effort assessment.
Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, prototypes, and solution definitions.
Work alongside technical teams to design and deliver automations, workflows, LLM-enabled solutions, integrations, and data-led features.
Support the build and delivery of AI/automation solutions using tools such as Intelligent Automation, RPA, workflow platforms, and LLM-based solutions.
Own testing cycles, user feedback sessions, and the continuous improvement roadmap.
Act as an internal SME, helping colleagues and clients understand the capability, risks, opportunities, and best practice for AI and automation.
Track benefits, adoption, and performance metrics to demonstrate commercial and operational impact.

What we’re looking for

We’re open-minded about background, but you’ll need to demonstrate several of the following:

Experience working in a product, business analysis, automation, or AI-related role.
Hands-on exposure to automation tools (e.g. Power Automate, UiPath, Zapier, Make), workflow platforms, or GenAI/LLM tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down ambiguity into structured options.
Curiosity and a desire to experiment, learn, and shape high-quality solutions.
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences.
A delivery mindset – comfortable working on multiple small-to-large pieces of work simultaneously.
A consultative approach: asking great questions, managing stakeholders, and creating clarity in complex environments.

Why join?

Impact from day one: You’ll be shaping and delivering solutions that materially change how clients operate.
Variety of work: From quick-win automations to enterprise-level AI initiatives.
Professional development: Access to training, coaching, and emerging technology exposure.
A progressive, supportive consultancy culture: Smart, values-led, collaborative colleagues.
Hybrid and flexible working tailored around outcomes, not presenteeism.
