The Role

The AI Business Analyst supports the delivery of enterprise AI and automation solutions by bridging business needs with technical capabilities. This role focuses on business process analysis, stakeholder engagement, and functional requirement documentation to ensure successful implementation and adoption of AI use cases such as conversational agents and intelligent knowledge systems.

This position requires a strong mix of business process analysis, requirement gathering, data interpretation, and stakeholder communication.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Discovery & Use Case Definition – Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and define impactful conversational AI use cases.
Document Functional Requirements – Capture detailed requirements for platform configuration, including current process, desired state, user journeys, data flows, and integration needs.
Design Conversational Experiences – Work with technical teams to shape user intents, decision trees, and triggers across platforms such as but not limited to Slack, Teams, ServiceNow, and Salesforce.
Support Implementation & Testing – Assist in configuring and validating AI use cases to ensure alignment with business goals and technical feasibility.
Facilitate Stakeholder Engagement – Drive alignment through regular updates, demos, and feedback sessions to support adoption and continuous improvement.
Lead Knowledge and Content Review Projects, including analysing user behavior, reviewing knowledge gaps, and improving existing self-service content across platforms like SharePoint, ServiceNow, or Highspot.
Champion AI-Ready Content Best Practices, ensuring knowledge articles and enterprise content are optimised for machine learning and conversational interfaces.
Facilitate Change Management through stakeholder communications, demos, training, and feedback collection to ensure solution adoption and continuous improvement.
Provide Regular Status Updates and Executive Reporting to ensure visibility, transparency, and accountability at every project stage.

Qualifications

3-5 years in business analysis, preferably in enterprise SaaS, AI, or automation platforms.
Proven success in greenfield technology implementations, particularly in AI, automation, or enterprise platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Salesforce, MS Teams).
Experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Slack, Microsoft Teams, or similar.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid project environments.
Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
Analytical mindset with experience in data-driven decision-making and performance analysis.

Preferred Certifications

CBAP -IIBA, PMI-PBA, or equivalent business analysis certification.
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile qualification.
AI/ML or automation-specific training (e.g., Microsoft AI Fundamentals, UiPath, or Dialog flow).
