About the Role:
As the Business Intelligence Lead, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client's data analysis and information management capabilities. You will be responsible for the design, construction, and support of a comprehensive Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence solution, empowering the organisation to meet its evolving needs.
What You'll Do:
Act as the Database Administrator for the Trust data warehouse, ensuring operational functions run smoothly.
Lead the development of bespoke data warehouse solutions, collaborating with key team members and external suppliers.
Design and implement effective solutions to enhance existing information systems and streamline data handling processes.
Provide expert advice on Business Intelligence capabilities, ensuring adherence to data governance and quality standards.
Oversee the production of detailed documentation for information systems, aiding future modifications and support.
Support the development and management of the Information Systems Analyst Team, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Monitor and maintain the daily operations of the data warehouse.
Coordinate the specification, design, and implementation of new information systems.
Ensure compliance with data structures and governance.
Conduct data processing and analytical work to address queries and support investigations into data quality.
Foster strong relationships with clinical and managerial staff to promote accurate data collection.
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in report writing tools (SSRS, Crystal Reports, Business Objects XI).
- Strong analytical and project management abilities.
- Knowledge of NHS datasets and data governance principles.
