Job Specifications

Our client, a fast-growing consumer business, is seeking an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead a cross-jurisdictional legal team from its London headquarters. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded, forward-thinking lawyer to join a dynamic organisation expanding across multiple markets.

The Opportunity

In this senior role, you will manage a distributed legal team and act as a strategic partner to the business. You will advise senior stakeholders, lead high-impact projects, and help shape the company’s legal and commercial strategy internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop a cross-jurisdictional legal team.
Provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to senior leadership.
Own and deliver complex legal and regulatory projects.
Advise on consumer law, commercial contracts, e-commerce, data protection, and marketing compliance.
Collaborate with product, marketing, commercial, and operations teams.
Manage legal risk while enabling business growth.
Improve legal processes, templates, and governance frameworks.

Experience & Skills

Qualified solicitor with significant in-house experience.
Proven experience supporting consumer-facing businesses, ideally across multiple markets.
Strong commercial acumen and ability to give clear, actionable advice.
Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder-management capability.
Experience delivering complex projects in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Digital marketing, advertising, or digital consumer experience is highly desirable.
