Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Location: Burnaby, BC

Overview:

We’re growing fast and seeking a detail-oriented Retail Accounting Clerk to support our financial operations.

What You’ll Do:

Prepare quarterly Profit & Loss statements for corporate and associate stores
Key journal entries and ensure accurate allocation of transactions
Investigate discrepancies and verify store inventory counts
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and Drop Ship transactions
File GST, PST, and corporate tax remittances
Support audits, liaise with external accountants, and provide financial reporting to internal teams
Review invoices, asset purchases, depreciation, and insurance claims
Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

What You Bring:

2-year accounting diploma or equivalent
3+ years of accounting experience, retail preferred
Strong understanding of financial statements and reconciliations
Excellent communication and collaboration skills at all levels
Detail-oriented, organized, and flexible with a solution-focused mindset
Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with technology
Team player with curiosity, optimism, and a willingness to take initiative

Rate: $27/hr CAD
