Akkodis is seeking a DevOps Eng for a Contract with a client in Englewood Cliff, NJ. You will manage and automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines while ensuring high availability of cloud-based services.
Rate Range: $44/hour to $45/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
DevOps Eng Job Responsibilities Include
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure using AWS services such as EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, and CloudFront.
Develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like CloudFormation and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
Monitor and troubleshoot system performance across Linux environments, ensuring high availability and reliability of microservices and n-tier systems.
Automate operational tasks and improve system efficiency through scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Agile development practices and ensure secure, scalable deployments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering and cloud infrastructure management.
Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, Route53, CloudFront) and Infrastructure as Code practices using tools like CloudFormation.
Hands-on experience with Linux administration, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).

Pay Details: $44.00 to $45.00 per hour
