Roles And Responsibilities

Reporting to the Supervisor, Business Operations, the Administrative and Accounting Support Student will be responsible for:

Providing outstanding customer service to internal and external customers and responding to their inquiries in a timely manner
Tracking and processing invoices, cheque requisitions in accordance to Purchasing and Expenditure Control Policies.
Work on Daily Contract Sheets data entry
Assist in reconciliation of general ledger accounts and purchase orders
Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor, including assisting in data entry, filing, budget binder update, calculation of cost associated with Operations activities

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution in the field of Accounting or related discipline
Good customer service skills
Strong attention to details and demonstrated ability for accuracy
Effective written and verbal communications skills
Knowledge of accounting and well developed MS Office computer skills including Excel, Word, Access
Strong organizational skills including ability to multi-task and prioritize work to meet multiple deadlines.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
