Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Database Administratior

As a Database Administrator you will have the key responsibilities as follows:
We are seeking a skilled Database Administrator responsible for managing, optimizing, and securing enterprise databases. The DBA will ensure high availability, performance tuning, backup/restore, and smooth database operations across environments.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain RDBMS/NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB).
Monitor database performance and perform tuning, indexing, and query optimization.
Manage backups, recovery, replication, failover, and DR setups.
Ensure database security, access control, and compliance.
Support release deployments and troubleshoot database issues.
Automate routine DBA tasks and maintain documentation.
The ideal candidate will have
Primary Skills
Strong SQL skills and deep knowledge of at least one major DB platform.
Experience with performance tuning, backup & recovery, and high availability.
Familiarity with Linux/Windows servers and shell scripting.
Experience with monitoring tools (OEM, Nagios, Grafana, etc.).
Understanding of cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, GCP Cloud SQL) is a plus.
Secondary Skills
Programming Skills: Python/Java, or Node.j for scripting and automation.
Serverless Architecture: Designing with Lambda, API Gateway, Apache Airflow.
Cost Management: Understanding pricing models (On-Demand, Reserved, Spot) and using Cost Explorer.
Disaster Recovery & High Availability: Multi-AZ deployments, backups, and failover strategies.
Soft Skills: Communication, stakeholder management, and documentation.
Team Collaboration: Working with DevOps, security, and development teams to align cloud goals.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate/Professional

Pay Range And Benefits
Pay Range*: $120 to 125k/yr + Benefits
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
