JOB DESCRIPTION

A large Energy employer is looking for a Senior Endur Developer to join the Crude and Products IT Delivery team in the Houston, Texas area. This person will join a rather large team with a mix of people in Houston and India. This person will be brought on due to an influx in project work and company growth over the next couple of years which is driving additional headcount for the team. The Senior Endur Developer will be heavily involved in the ETRM upgrade that kicks off next year. The company is planning to move from Version 14 to version 26 for their Crude business. Their Crude business is currently in version 11 with no immediate plans to upgrade next year. The Products business is their primary focus. The Endur Developer will focus on the Front Office functions within Endur managing the full lifecycle of the trading, pricing and deal capture part of the company's business. The ideal candidate will come from a strong Java Development background that has focus on Endur Development performing backend integrations coupled with OpenLink JVS. The Endur System is highly customized with potential plans to reduce the custom code over the next couple of years. They are currently on-prem and running on oracle 19 database. They are a hybrid Agile/Waterfall delivery environment running 8-10 week release cycles. Lastly, this person must be OK sitting onsite 3 days a week splitting time between downtown Houston and the Energy Corridor.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5-10 years of experience with Java Development 5+ years’ experience with Endur Development using OpenLink JVS performing backend integrations Experience using GitHub for code management Experience working in Oracle database
