Ford Credit is searching for a Risk Product Analyst, who will help build and implement digital products and experiences that our customers across Europe will love. These experiences will have the power to transform our relationship with our customers. You will be responsible for owning key features, delivering these to market, measuring their success and then seeking pushing for their continual improvement. This is a rare opportunity to apply your unique Product, Design and Tech skillsets to support the wider business on our transformation.

Responsibilities

Risk Product is the management of the systems and suppliers that enable Ford Credit to make lending decisions for prospective and existing customers.

The UK business is in the process of moving onto a new platform to acquire new credit customers, which incorporates a new decision engine, which uses both users’ provided information and data from third parties to decision customers for credit, based on Ford Credit strategies and appetite.

This platform is in the process of a full UK rollout, and gives the business scope for greater flexibility and agility to add new features and make enhancements going forward. Post rollout in the UK, it will need to be enhanced and rolled out to other EU geographies.

As a Risk Product Analyst, you will be expected to:

Support the management of third party risk suppliers including relationship building, budget management, internal governance, service management and related support queries
Support the creation and delivery of the product roadmap to enable us to decision customers effectively, compliantly and with a best-in-class experience for our customers
Help drive insights through quantitative and qualitive methods, help develop and document requirements and investigate and measure solution performance and track if/how we’re solving the intended problem statement
Collaborate across a wide organization internally and with third parties to support delivery
Help the wider team own and maintain the overall quality of your product/feature area to ensure you and your team are always delivering world class software in every release
Support senior product leaders across Ford Credit to ensure the overarching product vision can be realized

Qualifications

The minimum requirements we require:

3+ years’ experience working with digital data-oriented products in a product team
A self-starter who shows initiative and self-drive to get the job done and is willing to get ‘stuck in
Experience in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing detailed business and functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in identifying product challenges, evaluating potential solutions, and defining clear approaches to enhance product value and user experience
Capability to define, track, and report on key product performance indicators (KPIs), identify areas for improvement, and contribute to product optimization through data-backed recommendations
Understanding of customer journeys and has developed and delivered features to improve customer experiences an/or business value
A great communicator with the ability to articulate problems and solutions clearly then seek alignment across all parties
An organized, detail orientated person who can ask the right questions to help ensure we ship amazing products
Experience working in a matrixed team structure and influencing across a wider organization

Desirable criteria

Bachelor’s degree or combination of experience and education
Experience working in financial services environment desirable but not required
Experience working with risk products is desirable but not required

This position is based in Dunton, and it is expected the successful candidate will be able to attend the Dunton office for typically 4 days a week and remain flexible on the days they are required to attend the office according to business requirements.
