Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)

Hybrid (3 days a week onsite in Kent, WA)

We have an amazing opportunity for an established SDET to join a well-funded and well-positioned startup to contribute to the growth of a successful B2B SaaS product. In this greenfield development environment you will be responsible for building and maintaining automated test frameworks, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating closely with developers, product managers, and UX teams to drive seamless releases.

This is a high-impact role with a lot of ownership in a rapidly growing startup environment.

What You'll Do:

Develop, automate, and execute end-to-end tests to validate real-world user workflows
Build, scale, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium
Review pull requests (PRs), understand code changes, and ensure adequate test coverage
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, high-quality releases
Perform API testing to verify data flows between frontend, backend, and external systems
Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and UX teams to improve test efficiency
Monitor and refine automated test strategies to support frequent deployments and maintain system stability

What You Bring:

8+ years SDET experience
Strong experience in end-to-end testing for B2B SaaS applications
Proficiency in TypeScript, C#, or Java and experience writing test automation
Hands-on experience with modern UI Automation frameworks( Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
Bachelor's in Computer Science
Experience with API testing (Postman, REST Assured, SuperTest)
Strong understanding of test automation best practices, including Page Object Models (POM) and reusable test components
Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment, ensuring efficient test execution and quick releases
