Role Summary
The Senior Manager / AVP – Performance Analytics will deliver high-quality performance analytics, drive enhancements in reporting and data governance, and support senior leadership on a range of strategic initiatives. The role sits at the intersection of investment performance, corporate strategy, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Corporate & Investment Performance
Lead the end-to-end corporate performance cycle, including KPI design, target-setting, measurement, and reporting.
Analyse performance outcomes, prepare detailed insights, and present results to senior stakeholders and Board-level committees.
Facilitate annual performance target-setting through research, trend analysis, scenario modelling, and benchmarking.
Support the cascading of corporate KPIs across business units and functional teams.
Maintain performance methodologies and frameworks to ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment with best practices.
Act as the primary contact for third-party KPI validation where required.
Provide analytical support to departments on performance-related matters, including investment benchmarking, market analysis, valuation review inputs, and preparation of Board materials.
Macro, Market & Factor Analysis
Monitor global macroeconomic developments and synthesise insights to support investment decision-making.
Track market conditions and produce quantitative analytics to highlight trends, risks, and performance drivers.
Contribute macroeconomic and strategy perspectives into the investment process.
Data & Analytics
Serve as the subject matter expert for SimCorp and performance-related data governance.
Lead initiatives on data architecture, data quality, controls, and reporting enhancements.
Partner with cross-functional teams to automate and improve analytical workflows.
Strategic Initiatives & Projects
Support the COO in organisational and strategic projects, including corporate strategy development, research initiatives, townhall preparation, and ad hoc analysis.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Sciences, or related fields; CFA preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in investment performance, data analytics, or related areas.
Strong understanding of financial markets, macroeconomic drivers, and investment performance measurement.
Experience with KPI frameworks, target-setting, and corporate performance reporting.
Exposure to data governance, analytics tools, and reporting platforms (SimCorp experience is a plus).
