Procurement Analyst – Tariff Mitigation & Supplier Risk

Overview

The Procurement Analyst plays a critical role in supporting global procurement initiatives with a dedicated focus on Tariff Mitigation and Supplier Risk projects. This role serves as a key interface between Global Procurement, Operations, Business stakeholders, and project teams to ensure sourcing strategies are executed effectively and deliver measurable value. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical capabilities, project ownership, and a strategic mindset to drive cost optimization, supplier performance, and operational excellence.

Essential Roles & Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement Support

Serve as the primary procurement interface for designated Tariff Mitigation and Supplier Risk projects.
Own end-to-end category project execution, ensuring quality, timelines, and outcomes meet organizational expectations.
Ensure business needs, requirements, and goals are integrated into leveraged category strategies with a clear value proposition.
Collaborate closely with global category managers and procurement managers to support commercial engagements and maximize value creation.

Stakeholder & Project Management

Engage with Business, Operations, and cross-functional project teams to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient execution.
Represent Procurement as the primary point of contact on the Tariff Project Team.
Identify gaps related to suppliers, processes, or commercial factors; propose and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.

Analytics & Business Intelligence

Develop, quantify, and evaluate internal and external data to generate actionable business intelligence.
Support procurement’s strategic objectives by transforming data insights into recommendations that drive operational excellence.

Savings, Value, and Cost Optimization

Own delivery of savings targets, cost avoidance, and non-price value improvements through category strategy execution.
Lead all procurement activities related to AAD Tariff Mitigation initiatives.
Execute strategic sourcing (E2E) to drive improved financial performance and identify optimization opportunities.

Supplier Risk Mitigation

Drive supplier risk mitigation projects designed to minimize backorders and improve OTIF (On-Time, In-Full) performance.
Support proactive strategies and partnerships that ensure supply continuity and reduce exposure to disruptions.
