Our Technology Degree Apprenticeship Programme offers you a wide variety of opportunities within technology and you will be part of a creative, collaborative and innovative team, partnering with others, sharing solutions and you will have a strong desire to make an impact. About Regulatory & Cross-Product Technology

Within Deutsche Bank's Investment Bank Division, the Investment Bank Regulatory & Cross-Product Technology Group (CM Tech) plays a critical role at the core of our operations. We are responsible for the Party Data system, a central pillar of the bank's strategy to increase the quality of client reference data and operate a class-leading perpetual Know-Your-Client (KYC) process. Technology in CM Tech isn't just a supporting function; it's driving fundamental transformations that reshape how we manage critical client data, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver innovative financial solutions across the Investment Bank.

About Corporate Bank Technology Production

Corporate Bank Technology Production is the backbone of Deutsche Bank’s Corporate Bank, ensuring stability and resilience across critical applications that support global banking operations. We manage over 550 applications across domains such as Payments, Trade Finance, Client Services, and Core Banking, operating globally. Our mission: “Making Production Better” by reducing incidents, resolving issues quickly, enabling safer change, and driving automation.

As an Application Support Engineer Apprentice, you’ll gain hands-on experience supporting mission-critical banking applications. You’ll learn how production environments operate, assist with incident resolution, and develop technical skills that underpin modern financial services.

You’ll spend part of your time in structured learning and the rest applying your knowledge on live systems, working alongside experienced engineers in areas such as incident triage, risk management, and automation.

The team provides end-to-end operational oversight of critical platforms—including clearing, settlement, confirmation, and regulatory reporting—while driving continuous improvement through automation, observability, and robust incident management practices. Partnering closely with development, operations, and business stakeholders, the team delivers high-quality production support, optimizes system performance, and implements strategic engineering solutions that safeguard the integrity of downstream trade workflows.
