Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support professional to provide technical assistance and support to our company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues, maintaining network infrastructure, and ensuring optimal system performance. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your expertise in computer networking, operating systems, and technical support within a dynamic environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to troubleshooting and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for desktop, laptop, and peripheral hardware issues across Windows, apple and android.

• Troubleshoot software problems including Microsoft Office applications, specialised enterprise software, and operating system errors.

• Maintain and support network infrastructure such as LAN, WAN, DNS, TCP/IP configurations, firewalls, and switches.

• Manage user accounts and permissions using Microsoft Azure and assist with account provisioning.

• Assist with the configuration and troubleshooting of computer hardware components.

• Monitor system performance, analyse logs, and escalate issues.

• Document technical procedures and solutions clearly for future reference; provide training or guidance to end-users when necessary.

Requirements

• Proven experience in IT support or help desk roles with an understanding of computer networking principles.

• Proficiency in operating systems including Windows, Android and iOS.

• Strong software troubleshooting skills across Microsoft Office suite and other common enterprise applications.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to diagnose complex problems efficiently.

• Relevant certifications/qualifications in an IT field of expertise, or relevant experience. This role provides an engaging environment where your technical expertise will directly impact company efficiency whilst offering opportunities for professional growth within the IT sector.
