Job Specifications

Catalyst Program Manager – Egregor (Paris or Remote)

An independent, ethical and collective catalyst for social and environmental justice

Egregor is a social endowment fund accelerating high-potential social innovators working on climate transition and social impact. As a venture-philanthropy initiative, we reverse the traditional donor-organization model by offering strategic grants, expert support, and hands-on guidance to organisations in France and emerging economies (currently with a focus on Africa).

Through our Catalyst Program, we equip selected NGOs and impact start-ups with the strategic, operational, financial, and governance foundations needed for sustainable growth, replication, and investment-readiness.

We are looking for an impact-driven Catalyst Program Manager (CPM) to lead the development and day-to-day implementation of the Catalyst Program globally. You will be the driving force turning Egregor’s vision into practice. The CPM reports to the COO and supervises the Catalyst Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities

1. Selection of Social Innovators

• Support the end-to-end selection process and ensure alignment with Egregor’s mission

• Conduct structured organisational assessments (governance, finance, impact model, scale-readiness)

• Develop and monitor tailored Roadmaps for capacity-building and long-term growth

2. Day-to-Day Support

• Provide ongoing hands-on support as part of the Catalyst operational team, while mobilizing external experts when needed

• Lead field visits, monitor progress, and build strong relationships with Social Innovators

• Facilitate peer-learning, joint initiatives, and knowledge exchange across the cohort

• Support visibility and storytelling strategies to amplify impact

3. Fundraising & Financial Support

• Coordinate fundraising efforts for Social Innovators across philanthropic, blended-finance and private pathways

• Manage Egregor’s internal funding allocations

• Support Social Innovators in refining financial models and investment-readiness metrics

4. Tools & Systems Development

• Build tools and systems that strengthen support delivery and operational efficiency

• Help Social Innovators integrate selected tools into their processes

• Co-develop innovative tools inspired by philanthropy, impact investing, and venture capital

5. Egregor Community Development

• Identify needed expertise and cultivate partnerships with consultants, universities, and specialized organisations

• Mobilize and coordinate experts with clear scopes, deliverables, and follow-up

• Grow and animate the Egregor Community as a vibrant knowledge and support ecosystem

6. Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

• Oversee KPI tracking, planning, implementation, and impact measurement

• Support evidence-based programming by guiding data collection and producing learning materials and case studies

Qualifications

Essential Experience

• At least 5 years’ experience in strategic planning, organisational development, fundraising, and change management (ideally in impact-driven ecosystems)

• Experience across philanthropic, public and private funding pathways, including budgeting and financial analysis

• Proven project and program management experience

• Hands-on support to NGOs or start-ups, with emphasis on capacity-building and scale-up

• International experience in diverse socio-economic contexts

Valued Additional Experience

• Exposure to blended finance and innovative funding mechanisms

• Strong research and analytical skills (market and sector analysis)

• Experience with NGOs, philanthropic organizations, development actors or public institutions

• Experience in early-stage venture assessment (growth potential, scalability, pollinisation)

• Experience developing impact frameworks and methodologies

Skills & Competencies

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder-management skills

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities

• Flexibility in dynamic, fast-evolving environments

• Alignment with Egregor’s values: ethical standards, scientific rigor, independence, continuous learning

• Fluency in English; French highly desirable

Contract & Benefits

• Freelance/Consultancy contract – EUR 46,000 HT per year

• First contract: 6 months, renewable

• 18–22 working days per month – daily rate €200 HT

• Nomadic office at Climate House (Paris) + remote work options

• Ideal start date: 16 February 2026
