Job Specifications

Are you an experienced BA looking for an outside IR35 role? Our client requires a London based hybrid working BA to join their expanding dynamic team. If you are in the market for a new opportunity and you match the profile below, we would love to hear from you.

Candidate Criteria

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Familiarity with data governance and reference data concepts
Ability to work across multiple teams and manage competing priorities
Proficiency in tools for data analysis and documentation (e.g., SQL, Excel, Visio, Jira)

Key Responsibilities

Gather and document business requirements for reference data solutions
Analyse existing data flows and identify mismatches or gaps
Support feasibility studies and Proof of Concept (PoC) validation
Collaborate with domain leads, product managers, and architects to ensure alignment
Assist in defining data standards and governance processes
Prepare functional specifications and support testing phases

Experience Highlights

Previous experience in data management programmes or master data initiatives
Exposure to financial trading systems or energy/commodity markets (Endur, ETRM systems preferred)
Hands-on experience with data modelling, data quality frameworks, and integration projects
Track record of working in agile delivery environments
Experience in stakeholder workshops, impact analysis, and business case development
Experience within the Energy & Gas industry, with desirable background in Trading
