Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Golang Developer to join our team in Bristol. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in building secure, scalable enterprise-grade applications using Go, along with a solid understanding of modern backend engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance secure and scalable Go-based applications.
Build and integrate REST APIs, microservices, and containerized solutions.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams while also being capable of independent development.
Optimize backend systems to meet high-performance and non-functional requirements.
Follow best practices in coding, code review, version control, agile delivery, and CI/CD pipelines.

Essential Skills & Experience

Strong proficiency in Golang with 7–9 years of experience.
Experience in REST APIs, microservices, and containerization technologies.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic-thinking skills.
Deep understanding of secure coding practices and enterprise-grade application development.
Experience with agile methodologies and continuous delivery processes.

Desirable Skills

Experience with Java development.
Knowledge of cryptography frameworks in Go and Java.
Experience with SQL databases.
Interest or exposure to application security or mobile app security.
Experience working in cloud environments and with DevOps pipelines.
