Job Specifications

Role: AWS Infrastructure engineer

Location: Birmingham(5 days onsite)

Duration: Fixed term contract

We are looking for an Associate Cloud DevOps Engineer (2–4 years exp) to automate and scale our AWS infrastructure.

The Tech Stack:

Cloud: AWS (EC2, EKS, Lambda, RDS)
IaC: AWS CDK & CloudFormation
Code: TypeScript (Automation) & Shell scripting
CI/CD: GitLab/GitHub Actions/Jenkins
Data: Kafka & MongoDB

What You’ll Do:

Build & maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines.
Automate operational playbooks using TypeScript.
Manage observability (CloudWatch/Datadog) and security controls.
Optimize cloud costs and platform reliability.

Requirements:

2+ years of production AWS experience.
Strong networking/security fundamentals.
Experience in regulated environments (FinTech) is a plus.
