Senior ETL tester _ Permanent hiring
We are looking for Senior ETL tester _ Permanent hiring for our UK based client
Start date: Immediate
Location; London, (80% - 90 % remote) - It's almost a remote role there might be need of going to a couple of days to office.
Experience: minimum 8 years of relevant experience
Employment Type: Fulltime (permanent)
Preference: SC cleared/SC eligible
Job details:
Must have's:
* Experience of testing in data projects (eg ETL pipelines, data migration, data ingestion)
* Experience of developing and executing Test automation using SQL, Python and AWS services (Lambda, Glue, Redshift, DynamoDB)
* Should have minimum 8 years of relevant experience (maturity and exposure to the above two is very important) so that the person can handle the role single-handedly (without any support)
Required skills and experience
Software Quality Assurance experience which includes Data Warehouse Testing
In-depth knowledge of Data warehouse concepts
Extensive exposure to Back End/ETL Testing with good level SQL skills is required
Ability to evaluate Business requirements and determine the types of testing that must be conducted (ie, data validation, regression, etc.)
Should have strong Test Process orientation and familiarity with Test Scenario identification and Test Data preparation techniques and knowledge of Test Documents to be prepared ie Requirement Traceability, Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test evidence, etc.
Should be able to create a comprehensive Test Plan and Test Cases that support the business and technological solutions being delivered
Thorough knowledge of Software Test Life Cycle, Test Case Life Cycle, Defect Life Cycle, etc.
Should have exposure to Agile, Jira, and Test management tools eg, ALM, RTM, Test FLO, Zephyr, etc.
Good to have experience in using or have knowledge of ETL tools
Good to have exposure to creation of an automation framework to validate data
Should be detail oriented with an analytical mind set
Should be able to contribute individually or even coordinate with a team
Should possess good communication skills and be able to articulate thoughts clearly to Business and team
