Contribution Of The Role
You will benefit from on-the-job training in a supportive working environment where you can develop your personal and professional skills. In this role you could find yourself contributing to campaign planning, idea development and implementation across a range of digital marketing activities. This may include content creation, blog planning and writing, working with influencers, and supporting filming for social media posts. You will work with data to help inform decisions and produce reports that track performance. You will also liaise with product management, sales and customer services, produce presentations and digital newsletters, and collate KPIs alongside other tasks as required. We expect you to be able to write engaging copy, bring creative ideas and support at our events.
Responsibilities
May involve but not limited to:
Support the creation and management of content for digital marketing channels.
Work with the marketing team to develop content for Instagram and Facebook that supports brand and campaign messages. Make recommendations for new content ideas and opportunities.
Write short scripts and help create Instagram Reels, which may involve spending time with the sales team and observing their work with end‑user customers.
Identify and collaborate with Instagram and YouTube influencers who align with and promote the uvex brand.
Contribute to social media content creation including filming, editing, posting, and community engagement.
Write engaging copy for a range of marketing materials including blogs and brochures.
Work with marketing and sales colleagues to produce blog content for the UK knowledge hub, using AI personas where appropriate to create or adapt content for the intended audience.
Provide regular reporting, analytics and insights on social media performance to the marketing manager.
Support the creation and reporting of internal marketing content that helps develop and maintain company culture.
Work with the marketing manager and product manager to communicate new products to the internal team and distribution partners.
Provide support at trade shows and customer events.
Work with sales personnel and the marketing manager to review and analyse distributor websites, ensuring that they accurately reflect the uvex brand and product range. Liaise with sales colleagues and distributor contacts to ensure updates are implemented.
Support the PPE Account Development Executives with their marketing requirements to help them achieve their sales targets.
Assist with website updates and the organisation of the asset library.
Conduct, collate and report findings from distributor and end‑user customer satisfaction surveys.
At the end of the 13‑month placement, complete a thorough handover for the incoming intern, including the creation of a clear how‑to guide and recommendations for improvement.
Support in‑house video projects including planning, script writing, identifying B‑roll requirements and working with presenters during filming.
Essential Requirements
Studying for an undergraduate degree typical as the third year of a 4-year degree and taking a placement as part of your course
This is a 13-month placement beginning in July 2025.
You must be living in the UK and for the duration of the placement within comfortable commuter distance of Farnham. Please note that your placement must be directly relevant to your course to comply.
Necessary Qualifications/skills
Ability to organise own work, prioritise tasks and work autonomously
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills
Good written and spoken English
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere or Canva/ClipChamp or other video software)
Valid UK driver's license, ideally with own car
