ICT Project Manager - 12 Month Contract Inside IR35, April start

NPPV Level 3 vetting required (current, previously held, or ability to obtain)

Client-Side | Policing & Public Sector Digital Transformation

We are seeking experienced ICT Project Managers to support a major policing transformation programme within the public sector.

This is a client-side project management role, focused on governance, assurance and coordination across complex digital initiatives. You will work closely with senior stakeholders, internal digital teams and external suppliers to ensure projects are controlled, transparent and aligned to strategic objectives.

The Role

You will support the delivery of multiple ICT initiatives within a highly governed environment, contributing to planning, assurance and decision-making across the programme. The role spans procurement, design and implementation phases and requires confidence operating in multi-supplier, high-scrutiny settings.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate ICT projects in line with agreed governance frameworks
Support programme and project planning, scheduling and dependency management
Maintain oversight of risks, issues, assumptions and constraints
Provide clear, timely reporting to senior stakeholders and governance forums
Coordinate activity across internal teams, business areas and third-party suppliers
Support forecasting, phasing and mobilisation of resources
Ensure delivery activity aligns with agreed scope, timelines and quality expectations
Contribute to project documentation, decision papers and assurance artefacts
Support procurement, mobilisation and transition activities where required
