Pay Rate: $66.34 - $66.35 per hourPosition SummaryThe Data Scientist / Analyst will support the World Wide Cost Desk (WWCD) team by delivering advanced cost analysis, automation, and predictive analytics to support strategic roadmap decision-making. This role partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to analyze complex product costs and translate insights into clear, business-relevant recommendations.The ideal candidate brings strong data science, financial modeling, and analytics expertise with hands-on experience using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx/KNIME.Key Responsibilities
Support WWCD with cost analysis, automation, and cost prediction initiatives
Perform detailed analysis of complex product costs using Excel, Tableau, and Alteryx/KNIME
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather inputs for data analysis
Apply predictive analytics to forecast future program costs
Identify cost deltas, issues, and develop workaround solutions
Design and manage large analytical projects ensuring data accuracy and clarity
Translate complex data into concise, business-relevant insights for stakeholders
Build, maintain, test, and document complex workflows in Alteryx/KNIME
Maintain documentation for database workflows, requirements, and procedures
Required Skills & QualificationsRequired
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or related field
2+ years of experience in financial analysis or engineering
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, linking, formatting, charts)
Experience with financial modeling
Hands-on experience with Alteryx and/or KNIME, Tableau, and Excel
Experience with management information systems (e.g., KNIME, Alteryx, Tableau, Business Objects)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally
Preferred / Additional
Experience with cost analytics in product or manufacturing environments
Strong data science and advanced analytics background
